We use as little browser storage as the features allow, and none of it is used to build a profile of you.
Strictly necessary storage
Local storage holds your wishlist, comparison set, alerts and recent searches so the site still knows them after a reload. This is not shared with anyone.
Measurement
Aggregate analytics tell us which pages and searches are used. They do not identify you.
Advertising cookies
Google AdSense serves the ads on this site, and Google sets its own cookies and reads the device advertising ID to choose and measure them. These are third-party cookies: they belong to Google, are governed by Google's privacy policy, and we cannot read them.
Turn personalised ads off at myadcenter.google.com. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser also stops them — you will still see ads, just untargeted ones.
Affiliate attribution
Clicking through to a store may set a cookie on that store's domain so they can attribute the visit. That cookie belongs to the store, is governed by their policy, and does not change your price.
Turning it off
Blocking site data in your browser stops all of the above. The site still works — you simply lose the wishlist, comparisons and alerts, because there is nowhere left to keep them.
